Description
Ideasthesia is the catalog for my 2015 show at Meridian Gallery in San Francisco. Curated by Pam Grombacher, under the direction of Anne Brodsky, Ideasthesia was held at the cavernous SOMA for three weeks. The 20 vellum drawings were reimaged as overhead transparencies that users could flip on to overhead projectors at five stations. Each station was accompanied with a custom perfume mixed by MIKMOI, and every day, a spoken word sound track was mixed by Emily Wolahan, from an open mike made available to exhibit goers.
