Listen Speak, an aural installation

Constructed June 15, 2024, for the Mill City Museum’s 2024 Stone Arch Bridge Festival, Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Listen Speak is an installation of speaking tubes, ear horns and joy that runs the length of the fence on the eastern, river side of the Mill City Museum.  Adjacent to the western bank of the Mississippi River,  passersby are invited to speak to each other through the tubes, to listen to the river (and to each other) to tell secrets safely, and to attend, as they wish, to a playlist of river songs, story and natural sounds.
